The Boy Scout Slogan is Do a Good Turn Daily. The Good Turn concept is a major part of the personal growth method of Boy Scouting. Boys grow as they participate in community service projects and do Good Turns for others. Probably no device is as successful in developing a basis for personal growth as the daily Good Turn.
Troop 52 has been very successful in doing community service, both on an individual Scout basis as well as a Troop-wide basis.
If you complete community service individually or work with a group (such as an Eagle project) complete a community service form and turn it in to Community Service Coordinator.
